The Direction
// what's here, and whySigil is the design system behind ryanrampersad.com, the annual card, and the blog.
The identity is already good — League Gothic in uppercase, a confident red, a near-black ground, and the threads-of-fate ribbon. None of that gets thrown away.
v4 keeps that essence and renders it in its real material — digitally authentic. Dither instead of a faked gradient, generative canvas instead of a flat export, ASCII and grain because that's what a screen is made of.
One system across three properties — the banner site, the annual card, and the blog — built from primitives that survive at any size, from a 16-pixel favicon to a printed card. The words and feelings behind it live on the Design Language page.
